Dili, July 2nd, 2019: H. E. Prime Minister Taur Matan Ruak, received in an audience, on Tuesday, in Government Palace, the representative of Apostolic Nuncio of Holy See, Monsignor Marco Sprizzi accompanied by the Episcopal Conference Representative. During the meeting, they talked about the Concordata Agreement between Timor-Leste and Vatican that had been signed four years ago, which give the authority to the Local Catholic Church to implement social programmes in such areas like education, health and the protection to the poor.
“During the meeting with the Prime Minister, we were discuss about how to strengthen all aspect of Concordata agreement that had been signed four years ago between Vatican and Timor-Leste for the collaboration and public concern, service to people, social work, education, health and protection to the poor”, Said the Representative of Apostolic Nuncio to the journalists.
In this audience, the Timor-Leste Episcopal Conference Representative accompanied the Representative of Apostolic Nuncio. END
